We are proud to announce that, as part of our initiative AndBnB Social, we have made an apartment available to Ministry of Social Affairs of Andorra. This space will be allocated to young people in vulnerable situations, women victims of violence, refugees and other groups in need of a safe home where they can recover and rebuild their lives.

When we received this property, the condition was concerning. The walls were damaged, the spaces were poorly distributed, the electrical system needed an urgent update, and the furniture, for the most part, was in poor condition or very old. This was not the kind of place where a vulnerable person could feel safe or comfortable.
In Andorra, more than 20% of homes intended for social assistance require major renovations to be habitable. We know that the physical environment has a direct impact on emotional well-being, so at AndBnB we decided to act.

What was once a dilapidated apartment is now a warm and welcoming home, with natural light, modern furniture and a design designed to make residents feel safe and welcome. The common areas offer quiet spaces for rest, and the private rooms provide the privacy and security that people in vulnerable situations need so much.
One of our main objectives was to create an environment that not only offered physical security, but also emotional, where residents could begin to heal and plan for their future.

In 2023, around of 1,395 people In Andorra they benefited from housing-related aid, specifically in the area of rentals. These aid were managed by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Housing, and represented a significant increase compared to previous years.
